If you're wandering through Peterborough and find yourself longing for a cozy spot to enjoy a delightful meal and some quality conversation, look no further than Curly’s Café. Tucked away on Lawson Ave, this gem of a café offers a welcoming atmosphere that feels like a home away from home. With a reputation for serving hearty breakfasts and satisfying lunches, Curly’s has quickly become a cherished locale among locals and visitors alike.

Step inside and you're greeted by a warm, inviting vibe with friendly staff who make you feel right at ease. The café’s charm lies not only in its decor but also in the cheerful chatter exchanged between patrons and the attentive crew. It’s a space that beckons you to sit back, relax, and enjoy life’s simple pleasures over a good meal.

The menu at Curly’s is a testament to classic café fare, with a focus on comfort food that will satiate your hunger. Their omelettes come in various delightful options: from plain to spicy, cheese, mushroom, and ham, catering to a variety of tastes. For a truly British experience, don’t miss out on their all-day breakfasts. Guests rave about their delicious small, medium, and large breakfast platters, which feature perfectly cooked bacon, sausages, eggs, beans, and tomatoes, all served with hearty toast. As one happy visitor, James Docherty, put it, this café is a “hidden gem” where you can enjoy a top-notch meal at an unbeatable price.

If you're visiting during warmer months, treat yourself to their signature milkshake — it's an experience that will linger on your taste buds long after your visit. As kishany elangkovan enthusiastically noted, their milkshakes are among the best he has ever tried. Additionally, for those opting for something lighter or on-the-go, the selection of hot sandwiches and rolls, including options like sausage and mushroom, bacon and cheese, or vegetarian sausage, guarantees there’s something for everyone.

What sets Curly’s Café apart is not just the food; it’s the sense of community that envelops you as you dine. It’s a place where stories are shared, laughter is abundant, and friendships blossom over mouthwatering meals. Customers like Gary James have made this café their Saturday treat, sharing that it’s hard to find such a quality café these days — a sentiment that rings true for many visitors.

Whether you're popping in for a quick bite or settling in for a leisurely breakfast with friends, Curly's Café promises an experience that’s rich in flavor and warmth. With its scrumptious offerings and a team that genuinely cares about your dining experience, it's clear why so many are eager to return. Lovely breakfast, location and staff. More people should know about this cafe. Large breakfast was too filling last time, found my sweet spot with medium.

Hidden gem of a place. Small breakfast of bacon, sausage, egg, beans, and tomato, along with tea and toast was only £6. Good selection of other things on the menu, from sandwiches to baked potatoes. Staff were lovely and well worth a stop for lunch.

Went for breakfast with a friend, staff are really lovely and chatty, breakfast was OK! (big one) didn't like the sausages much or the bacon, but they do a lovely milk shake
